A video of victims being treated at the scene outside the Lagos State Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) following the freak collision between a train and a BRT bus that occurred in Lagos this morning has gone viral online.
A number of people lost their lives and others who survived the crash, which occurred along the Fajuyi Adekunle Way in the Ikeja area of the state in the early hours of March 9th, were seriously injured and required rushing to the hospital for emergency medical treatment.
The videos shared on social media showed a staff of the hospital laying out foams in an open space, leaving some of the victims lying on the foams.
It was understood that the hospital had to take this action because there was not enough bed space at the facility to accommodate the victims.
