Saida Mouh, the mother of Moroccan footballer, Achraf Hakimi, has finally responded to reports that her son’s fortunes are in her name.

Reports circulated online last week that the 24-year-old PSG defender’s wife, Hiba Abouk, would not receive anything as a divorce settlement because it was discovered that he owned nothing, as all his assets were in his mother’s name, Saida Mouh.

Eventually, Hakimi’s mother has broken her silence on the news, saying that the news was also new to her as well because she had no idea.

She went on to explain that if it is true, there’s nothing wrong with her son taking such measures to protect himself.

“If he has taken any action to protect himself, I am unaware of it. What’s the problem if the news is true? If my son does not do this, he will not be able to get rid of that woman (Hiba Abouk),” Morocco World News quoted Hakimi’s mother as saying.
