What Is Business School?
A business school is a university-level institution that grants degrees in business administration or management. According to Kaplan, business schools are “educational institutions that specialize in courses and programs related to business and/or administration.”
Indeed, Business schools enjoy widespread coverage in both print and digital media, including popular business magazines and magazines, tons of reviews, and blogs and books.
While the coverage has been largely positive, business schools have also been heavily criticized. But I find value in most business school texts, positive or negative.
In all of the articles, I find some true and valuable information about unmet needs and weaknesses. In truth, I am grateful to those who take the time to ponder business studies and provide public feedback.
There is one problematic side to all of the coverage of business schools. Most of these trends continue common misunderstandings and can mislead policymakers. Especially for those who are not yet familiar with the industry (e.g. potential students). However, positive or negative information that is poorly designed or presented in business schools can be harmful.
Here are basically three simple observations. Based on my experience of working closely with hundreds of business schools around the world for nearly two decades. To do this, offer an alternative perspective on the most common representations of business schools.
As a business school student, you’ll also learn to equate academic theories with real-world problems. Business schools encourage students to become smart and professional decision-makers who can easily deal with uncertainty, risk, and change.
