A trending video has captured Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci’s reaction after she was confirmed by Guinness as the world record holder for the longest cooking time by a person.

The GWR said in a statement published on its website on Tuesday that the 26-year-old restaurateur managed to break the record with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

“Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.” The statement was read in part.

Following the announcement, Hilda Baci was seen in a video on her Instagram story shedding tears of joy as she expressed her gratitude to God.

Emotionally moved Hilda, who was sitting in a car when she received the news, broke down in tears as she continued to pray and thank God that her hard work had paid off and all her efforts were not in vain.
