Twitter Users Claim Hushpuppi Got Caught Because He Tried To Impress American Socialite, Blac Chyna

There are new reports that suspected Nigerian fraudster, Hushpuppi was arrested by the FBI with the help of US socialist, Blac Chyna.

Recent details of the notorious alleged Nigerian fraudster Hushpuppi have resulted in an unsubstantiated claim that he would have gotten away with scamming, but he caught the attention of the US authorities after he tried to impress Blac Chyna.

Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai in June 2020 and extradited to the United States. (Read here)

According to the US Department of Justice, Hushpuppi, real name Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, was accused of “laundering hundreds of millions of dollars in business email compromise (BEC) and other fraud, including against an American law firm, a foreign bank, and the English Premier League football club.”

It was later revealed that Huspuppi allegedly teamed up with three North Korean computer hackers to steal more than $1.3 billion from companies and banks in the United States and other countries, federal prosecutors in the US said.

Now there are claims that Hushpuppi could get away with it for a lot longer, but he started hanging out with Blac Chyna and it caught the attention of US federal agents.

These claims have skyrocketed Blac Chyna on the trend table as Nigerians gave reactions about the issue.

According to the report from the website, it was actually a dinner party with Blac Chyna that exposed him.

A few days ago, BBNaija star, Leo Da Silva, reacted to the latest report of Hushpuppi accused of laundering money for hackers & bank robbers in North Korea.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has previously been reported to have linked embattled Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Hushpuppi, to North Korean hackers who are considered to be the world’s greatest bank robbers.

The Justice Department alleged in a detailed statement released on Friday, February 19 that Hushpuppi was involved in a “North Korean cyberattack on a Maltese bank in February 2019”. According to the statement, he worked as an employee of the North Korean money launderer Ghaleb Alaumary, 37, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
