Ihedioha Sends Message To Okorocha’s In-Law, Ararume, Uzodinma

Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has responded to his triumph at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.

Director of the council, Justice Mallami Umar-Dogondagi, had rejected the request of the competitor of the Action Alliance Party, Mr Uche Nwosu, for ineptitude.

In a consistent choice, the three-part board, additionally struck out the appeal of the All Progressive Congress, APC, applicant, Sen. Expectation Uzodinma.

Three petitions were documented by the governorship competitors of AA, APC and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA),asking the court to invalidate the appointment of Ihedioha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on the ground that he was unlawfully announced as the legislative leader of the state by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The applicants tested the development of the PDP up-and-comer in light of the fact that the political decision was damaged by abnormalities.

However, the council held that they neglected to build up their petitions against senator Ihedioha.

The court noticed that their petitions needed legitimacy.

It further decided that the solicitors neglected to release the weight of verification set on them by the law.

Talking on Monday at his living arrangement in Owerri, Ihedioha guaranteed his rivals of his status to invite them and close positions to push the state ahead.

“My intrigue to Chief Uche Nwosu, Sen. Ifeanyi Araraume and Sen. Expectation Uzodimma is to sheath their swords and close positions for a superior Imo state”, he said.

“There is no victor no vanquished. Imo is one independent of shifting political interests”.

The representative decided within the sight of previous governors Chief Achike Udenwa and Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, previous appointee senator Chief Ebere Udeagu and other political pioneers in the state.
