Nigerian Celebrities Condolences Davido

Many Nigerian celebrities have offered their condolences to popular singer and DMW boss, Davido and Chioma on the death of their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

9JaGistreel earlier reported that Ifeanyi Adeleke, who clocked 3 years a few days ago, died on Monday, October 31st, after drowning in the swimming pool at his father’s house in Banana Island. He was immediately taken to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

In response to the tragic news, popular comedian and actor, AY Makun wrote in a post shared on his official Instagram page:

“The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad.”

Davido’s close friend and Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, posted a heartbreaking emoji against a black background and wrote: “But why”. However, she later took down the post.

Nollywood actor, Williams Uchemba, responding to the sad report, said he sincerely prayed for Ifeanyi Adeleke’s death to be a lie.

He wrote;

“I said I won’t believe anything on SM until I personally confirm myself. I prayed for it to be a lie.

I am upset, pained, and confused. Nobody deserves to feel this pain. Please Say a Prayer for David, Chioma, and the entire family. Nobody deserves this kind of pain. Rest up Little one.”

Media personality, Daddy Freeze, who went live on his Instagram page in the early hours of Tuesday, also commented on his death before going off.

He wrote, “When the person you love is someone involved it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me I will not be live tonight.”

Instagram comedian, Lasisi Elenu, also responded to the news and wrote:

“Father heal your children’s hearts from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord.”

It is worth recalling that a few days ago, the DMW boss shared an adorable video of himself and his son having a great time in the pool on his official social media page.

He can be seen in the video holding the little boy with both hands while carefully showing him how to swim and moving him around in the pool. (Watch the cute video here)
