Twin Sisters Deliver Babies 13 Minutes Apart (Photos)
Twin sisters, Amesha Thuesday and Amela Latasha Thuesday gave birth to their babies on Wednesday, February 24th, only 13 minutes apart.
This delivery took place at the New Amsterdam Regional Hospital in Guyana.
The sisters gave birth to a girl and a boy named Cassidy Miracle Grand and Myron Kingsley Rajgopaul. They arrived at 9:10 a.m. and 9:23 a.m., each weighing 3 kg.
Amesha and Amela were both hospitalized on February 23.
A statement by the Regional Democratic Council of Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) on Facebook said that Regional Health Officer, Dr. Vishalya Sharma, and Medical Superintendent Dr. Vasana Henry were pleased that the facility was chosen by mothers to care for and manage their deliveries.
The New mothers, Amesha and Amela, said they were grateful to God for sharing this experience with each other.
“Father I wanna thank you for bringing me and my sister through safe with our delivery. Twins make twin cousins mins apart. They both would be celebrating their birthday together while me and my twin gone do the same” Amela wrote on Facebook.
In other news, moments of joy, as twin sisters who got married the same day, welcome bouncing baby boys few days apart.
A Facebook user, Queen Tomizyn Joy, shared the amazing story on a popular Facebook group “Love Zone”, saying that she taps into their blessing.
She wrote,
“Congratulations to them…..
“Beautiful twin sisters got married same day and gave birth to blessed baby boys few days apart!!!

The sisters have appeared to “stay twinning” even in marriage, as they welcome their bundle of joy a few days apart.
Friends, family, and well-wishers have taken to the comment section to congratulate the new moms.
