“Religion Thrives In Nigeria Because Of Suffering” – Reno Omokri Reacts To Video Of ‘Mummy G.O’ Chilling In Dubai

Former Presidential Advisor and YouTuber, Reno Omokri has reacted to a video of a viral internet sensation, Mummy G.O in which she excitedly shows off her luxury apartment in Dubai.

It is worth recalling that the “cleric”, whose real name is Funmilayo Adebayo, became an internet sensation after her controversial sermon videos went viral.

A video of hers having the time of her life in Dubai was recently shared on social media and it has sparked mixed reactions from social media users on the internet. (Watch Here)

In response to this, Reno Omokri took to his Instagram page to explain that religion thrives in Nigeria because of poverty and suffering.

According to him, when one travels outside the country, one would be able to clear his mind of the false teachings and delusions he learned in Nigeria.

He wrote,

“That Mommy GO video in Dubai where she was excited like a teenager vindicates what I said last year. Religion thrives in Nigeria because of suffering. When you relocate abroad, those things you fast and pray for now seem so elementary, and your mind is able to be free of the religious delusions that previously held you in bondage! Who would ever have believed that Mummy GO will be prancing around a hotel suite in a bathing robe and showing off, like a #BBNaija housemate? The old Mummy GO would have declared such ‘worldly’ behavior as a ticket straight to hell. Enjoy Dubai Funmi, but make sure you avoid hell.”
