A Nigerian man has announced that he is divorcing his seven-year-old wife for not supporting Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
After learning on Saturday, February 25th, that she had voted for the rival presidential nominee, he vowed to abandon her.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, he can be seen lamenting bitterly about his wife’s choice and threatening to leave her for it. Some officers were observed trying to calm the angry man but he refused to be seated.

She lamented that they wanted to get rid of her because she would not negotiate or accept any payment in exchange for taking her video down.
Despite the danger to her life, she remained adamant that the most important thing to her was the validity of the INEC results.
In her words;
“Good afternoon guys I’m Eunice the labour party candidate for Apapa federal constituency in Lagos and I am the one that uploaded the video showing us how INEC officials were manipulating our results early this morning about 4, 5 a.m.
The problem now is that they are threatening me they won’t eliminate me because I refuse to negotiate or accept any form of incentive to stand down my activities to help us”…(Watch the video she uploaded here)
