The distraught mother of Precious, a sound engineer who died on April 10th along with Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, in a boating tragedy in Anambra State, is appealing to Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara for help.
In a tragic video posted on social media, the mother of the deceased pleaded with the governor to help her bring her son’s remains to the state for a proper burial.
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Eno Umo, on Monday, April 15th, approved the relocation of the body of Abigail Frederick, the makeup artist who died when the boat sank, from the river bank to her father’s compound.
In her words,
‘’I call on you Governor of Rivers state to come and help me. I have been ill. It is that my that has been funding my treatment. Please try and visit the family so we can see how to bring back my son’s body because his landlady in Asaba says his spirit has been disturbing her. Please help me. If I do not see my son (body) I will die”

Meanwhile, Nigerian billionaire, Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-money, has adopted the children of late Nollywood actor, John Paul Odowondo, aka Junior Pope.
9JaGistreel.com reports that E-money said in a post on his official Instagram page on Wednesday that he is committed to honoring the wishes of the late actor.
Keep in mind that Junior Pope and four crew members of the Nollywood died in a river in Anambra State last Wednesday while returning from a movie shoot.
In the latest video shared on his Instagram page, Junior Pope complained about the lack of a life jacket and the risks they take to entertain their fans.
Part of the statement read: “Na Only Me Dem Born ooo, I Get Three Children, Na Me Go Raise Them.”
Reacting to the statement, E-money promised to support Junior Pope’s children, adding that they are now part of the Okonkwo family. (Continue reading)
