Popular Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie, has attacked junior female colleagues whom she says are not entirely honest about their source of income.
In a recent podcast, the screen diva addressed the never-ending debate about actresses being more successful than their male counterparts and owning huge buildings across the country.
Angela, noting that male movie stars are very hardworking, criticized actresses for flaunting their mansions in expensive estates and locations within a year of entering the industry, claiming to have bought the houses with money from their acting careers.
She asked them to stop lying while saying that no money from the film industry could give anyone money to buy villas in expensive locations in that short time.
Angela told the young actresses who claim that money from acting made them rich to refrain from giving such a false impression as it renders actresses who have been in the industry before them look irresponsible.
According to Angela Okorie, these young actresses have other ways of making money but continue to lie about acting and make it seem like their older peers are not doing something right.
