Popular Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known professionally as Ayra Starr, has announced that she graduated from the university at the age of 18.
The ‘Sability’ star recently made the revelation while having a conversation with Nairobi News.
According to Ayra Starr, her music career didn’t start until she was 18 because her mother insisted she gets a degree first.
She said she wrote the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in SS2, a year before she was due to graduate from secondary school, and succeeded.
She was later admitted to study International Relations and Political Science in the Republic of Benin, and since it was a three-year course, she graduated at 18.
Speaking further, Ayra Starr said that she plans to continue her studies, but she has been very busy, so now she is taking French lessons, piano lessons, and music lessons.
