Bobrisky Arrested
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested and jailed crossdresser, Idris Okuneye alias Bobrisky, for misuse of Naira, spraying of Naira notes, and mutilation of currency.
Bobrisky, who has been embroiled in numerous controversies in the last few weeks, was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday evening and has since been detained at the EFCC Command in Lagos.
EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale confirmed the development to our correspondent in a telephone interview on Thursday, saying Bobrisky would be charged to court.
What EFCC Spokesperson Said
Oyewale said, “Bobrisky is with us. He was arrested last night in Lagos, and he is at our Lagos command. We arrested him for alleged abuse of naira notes, spraying of naira notes, and currency mutilation, among others.
“We are very serious about restoring the dignity of the naira. Though our investigation is still ongoing, but he will definitely be charged to court soon.”
