Popular Nigerian Afrobeat artist and DMW Boss, Davido, has sparked reactions after being interviewed by Jazlyn, a young celebrity interviewer.
During the interview, Jazlyn asked Davido to give her a Nigerian name and the singer compared the young journalist to his first daughter and gave her the Nigerian name, Imade.
He said;
“You remind me a lot of my daughter, Imade, I feel like you are very advanced, your parents should be proud of you. A lot of people your age are not doing what you doing. I’ll give you Imade, it is a nice name. Tell people you have a Nigerian name Davidi gave you.”
Jazlyn in her reaction credited the singer for giving her a new Nigerian name, the same as his first daughter, Imade Adeleke.
The cute video drew a lot of emotional reactions from social media users, who praised Davido for his thoughtfulness with the name.
