A new viral video showing former security guards, Happie Boys, performing at an event in Cyprus has drawn mixed reactions from social media users.
Keep in mind that the boys had previously announced their intention to remain in Cyprus after their beneficiary, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, who sponsored them on a fully paid scholarship to continue their education, insisted that they return to Nigeria or the Republic of Benin to continue their studies.
A few weeks ago, they publicly took a stand against the man of God, accusing him of abandoning them and ending their scholarship six months after they arrived in Cyprus.
Responding, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere stated that he had to suspend the scholarship due to the financial difficulties caused by the rise in the exchange rate. However, he did book their flight back to Nigeria so they could further their studies at any college of their choice, which they refused.
Since they announced their decision to remain in Cyprus, videos of them performing their signature dance moves at various events have surfaced on social media.
In the latest video, the boys can be seen entertaining the guests with their dance. The crowd seemed delighted as they could be heard cheering them in the background.
The video has drawn mixed reactions from social media users, most of them felt that with consistency and dedication to their craft, the boys can achieve great success without formal training.
