Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, has taken to social media to comfort him following the funeral of his late son.
Yul Edochie’s first son with his first wife, Kambilichukwu, died on March 30th after suffering a seizure while playing football with his classmates in school and was buried recently.
The actor, who broke his silence just days ago, almost a month after the incident, took to his Instagram page yesterday to thank everyone for the love and support his family had received during their grief.
“I thank you all for the condolence messages, condolence visits, calls, care, and prayers you all offered for my son and for my family. The love and concern have been overwhelming. I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you from the depths of my heart. May God bless you all abundantly. Thank you,” he wrote.
Shortly after the post, Judy Austin posted Yul Edochie’s photo on her official Instagram page, showering him with praise and describing him as a great man.
She assured her husband that his life is in God’s hands and that he will always guide him. She further noted that he is a great man and that great men face great challenges.
In her words, “Ezedike, you’re a great man. And great men face great challenges. Your life is in God’s hands. Trust that He will lead you always. Remain strong.”
In response to the post, Yul Edochie thanked his second wife, Judy Austin, and called her “Ijele Odogwu,” as he affectionately calls her.
“Amen! Thank you, Ijele Odogwu,” he wrote.
