Kolawole Ajeyemi Mourn Murphy Afolabi Death
Popular Nollywood actor, Kolawole Ajeyemi, has taken to social media to mourn the tragic death of fellow actor, Murphy Afolabi.
The Nigerian movie industry was thrown into mourning on Sunday following the death of one of its own, Murphy Afolabi.
The actor died on Sunday, May 14th, 2023, from injuries he sustained when he fell in the bathroom of his home in Ikorodu, Lagos state.
His death shook many of his peers and fans. Mourning Murphy’s death, Kolawole Ajeyemi shared a video of him crying bitterly as he paid his respects to the late actor.

News of his death spread across the internet over the weekend and it was reported that the veteran Nigerian actor, who appeared in over 100 films during his acting days, died in his sister’s home and his body was taken to the JUTH morgue last Monday.
In response to the tragic news, Richard Mofe Damijo expressed disbelief and deep sadness that his colleague is no longer with us. He also shared how he introduced Saint Obi to the Nollywood film industry where he eventually rose to fame as a famous actor.
