Popular Nollywood actor, Kunle Remi, has spoken out after being excluded from the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards nominations.
The movie star, who starred in the Netflix blockbuster “Anikulapo”, was snubbed in the “Best Actor” category despite the film garnering 16 nominations.

Kunle Remi’s exclusion from the list has not gone down well with many of the film’s fans and lovers, who have voiced their grievance against the AMVCA on various social media platforms.

Kunle Remi has now responded to the public outcry in a post shared on his Instagram page, thanking his fans for the love and recognition.
The 34-year-old actor also congratulated the nominees and joked that they were lucky he wasn’t nominated, otherwise, he would have won the award.
He also pointed out that his colleague, Deyemi Okanlawom, was also not nominated in the “Best Actor” category and jokingly asked his close ones to check on his health.
Kunle wrote,
“I have been seeing all the tags after the AMVCA nomination announcement. It would be nonchalant to not appreciate the love, calls and messages.
