Lade, an aspiring Nigerian singer, has taken to her social media page to share her harrowing experiences of life in the United Kingdom (UK).
In an Instagram video, the ‘Adulthood Na Scam’ hitmaker claimed that the UK isn’t worth the hype because the reality of life there is far removed from what’s portrayed on social media.
She said that the weather is extremely cold and that she wakes up every morning with a sore throat or a stuffy nose, which isn’t an ideal way of life.
Lade added that the UK is not for the faint of heart, particularly for students juggling education and work, as it is extremely stressful. She said most of them work non-stop and don’t have time to rest.
She also advised people to assess the money they receive from their relatives in the UK because it is difficult to make money there.
According to Lade, life in the United Kingdom is not for her, and she will be returning to Nigeria with immediate alacrity.
