Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has announced that she has converted to Islam, her husband, Kazim Adeoti’s religion.
The screen diva, who previously revealed that she was fasting Ramadan with her husband, made the revelation during an interview at a Ramadan conference and special prayers organized by herself and her husband.
During the interview, the mother of two announced her conversion to Islam and her new name.
“Insha Allah, My new name is Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti. Meenah with the H,” Mercy said.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian woman has shared a video online advising married women to stay in their marriages regardless of the challenges because there is nothing on the streets.
She said women should not allow marriage counselors to pressure them to leave their marital homes at the slightest inconvenience.
In her opinion, being single is not fulfilling, otherwise, popular actresses, Mercy Aigbe and Iyabo Ojo would have stayed single instead of finding a partner.
Remember that in 2022, Mercy Aigbe got married to her husband, filmmaker Kazim Adeoti, a few years after her split from her ex-husband, Lanre Adeoti.
Iyabo Ojo recently revealed her lover as a popular talent manager, Paul O, after years of public celibacy.
Using the example of these actresses, the woman advised women to endure any problems they face in their marriages because there is nothing out there.
