Nigerian singer, Modupe Oreoluwa Oyeyemi Ola, better known as Mo’Cheddah, has revealed that she and her partner dated for ten years before finally getting married.
The mother-of-one made the revelation in an interview with Taymesan on his Tea With Tay podcast, in which she discussed her career, marriage, and motherhood.
According to Mo’Cheddah, before she and her husband got married, she was mocked and nicknamed “Lord of the Rings” for dating for a decade.
She said they started dating when she was 17 and they got married in a private ceremony ten years later.
“I love my private life and I don’t share it. There was no phone at my wedding. We weren’t living together before we got married and we have been together for 10years.” She added.
