Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been laid to rest in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The 27-year-old singer and songwriter sadly passed away on Tuesday, September 12th. However, there are conflicting reports about the cause of his demise.
According to some reports, he had sought medical attention for an ear infection, but after receiving an injection, he lost consciousness and was unable to wake up.
Alternatively, there are allegations that he was allegedly beaten with a fetish item popularly known as “Juju” while performing at a concert in Ikorodu recently.
Amid the controversy surrounding his demise, the “Feel Good” singer was laid to rest today, September 13th, less than 24 hours after his tragic death, according to Islamic customs.
Various clips showing the funeral procession are currently circulating on social networks. In one of the videos, a man from the community expressed disbelief over where the singer should be buried.
He shared a video of the gravesite and said that he assumed the singer would be buried in a mansion and not a bushy location.
