Mr Ibu’s second son, Daniel Okafor, has denied Stella Maris’ allegations regarding control of the account where donations for the actor’s operations were transferred.
It is worth recalling that Stella had previously claimed on her Instagram page that Jasmine, the actor’s adopted daughter, took over the bank account where Nigerians transferred money to help the ailing actor.
According to a recent expose obtained by The Punch, Jasmine was asked for her opinion on the current allegations but she refused to provide details.
“I do not want to be involved with the online drama, at least not yet. I am more concerned for Daddy’s well-being,” she said.
She, however, asked the media to contact the actor’s second son, who identified himself as Daniel Okafor.
“My name is Daniel Okafor; I am John Okafor’s second son. There is no truth in what Stella Maris has been sharing online. Jasmine does not have access to that account; I have access to it. I am the signatory to the account and my father’s next of kin,” he stated.
