Popular Nollywood actress, Regina Daniel’s husband, Ned Nwoko, has been declared the winner of the Delta North senatorial seat.
The returning officer, Dr. Josephine Okeakwa, declared Ned Nwoko the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) winner in the Oshimili South LGA today, February 27th.
Nwoko reportedly received 92,514 votes across the North Delta’s nine local government areas to defeat his closest rival, Mr. Kennedy Kamma of the Labour Party (LP), who received 86,121 votes.
Taking to her official Instagram page on Monday, February 27th, the billionaire wife expressed her delight at her husband’s win.
Regina Daniels shared a video of herself and some people in her community who had stormed her compound to celebrate with them, screaming and jumping with excitement.
Sharing the video on social, the Nollywood actress revealed that there would be a carnival going on in her neighborhood.
“It’s about to be a carnival.” She wrote.
