A fresh Nigerian graduate recently caused a stir at her school after turning down her boyfriend’s marriage proposal on the day of her graduation.
The boyfriend had stormed her school on her final examination day to surprise her with a car gift, and to ask for her hand in marriage.
After the young lady finished her final exam, her boyfriend gave her a Toyota Camry with a cake that had the inscription “Marry Me.”
However, she immediately rejected his proposal and tried to give him the cake back, but he hesitated and tried to talk to her. The lady didn’t feel like it at all and threw the cake on the floor before storming off, much to her boyfriend’s surprise.
A video of the embarrassing moment she turned down the proposal in front of her schoolmates, who encouraged her to say “YES,” has gone viral on the internet.
