A Nigerian man who identified himself simply as “Prophet Godwin” has warned Igbos living in Lagos State to pack their loads and leave.
In a video circulating on social media, Godwin, who appears to be a staunch supporter of APC presidential flag-bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ordered Igbos, who voted for Peter Obi in the presidential election, to leave Lagos immediately.
He added that churches that have supported candidates other than Bola Ahmed Tinubu should move their churches out of Lagos State as well.
In his words;
“All the Igbos in Alaba, all the Igbos in Idumota, all the Igbos in Lagos, as you wickedly voted for Obi, just pack your loads and leave Lagos. I’m just sending a message across to the country. If you play games against this movement, then let me tell you, I remain prophet Godwin. If not Asiwaju, there is no president, there will not be a president, and Peter Obi will not be, so you better know what you are doing. It’s only Asiwaju that can be a president of Nigeria that will transform this country. All the Igbos that voted for Peter Obi in Lagos, pack your loads and leave Lagos, all the pastors who talked against Asiwaju in Lagos, pack your churches and leave Lagos. Lagos is not your land, leave.”
This threat comes after Peter Obi defeated two-time Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu in the presidential election conducted in Lagos State.
Meanwhile, concerned Nigerians have called for the arrest and prosecution of the self-proclaimed “Prophet” over his tribalistic threats.
