American rapper and business mogul, Rick Ross, has pointed out that empowering friends and family is one of the most important strategies for staying rich.
According to the hip hop artist, if someone is rich and everyone around them is poor, it will only cause trouble for that person.
In an interview on Hot 107.9 FM, the Maybach Music founder pointed out that if a wealthy person makes investments that empower those around him, it will definitely take away the need for them to request favors or financial support.
According to Rick Ross, the person should educate those around him about the strategy to empower them and make them understand that unless they are willing to work and make their own money, they shouldn’t ask for anything.
The music producer claimed that his mother and sister hadn’t asked him for anything in years since he adopted that philosophy into his nuclear family.
Ross said;
“Staying rich – one of the biggest keys to that is empowering your circle, empowering your family, because you being rich and everybody else being broke next to you, it’s only going to be so long before you’re jammed up. Just like my mum, my sister, they ain’t ask me for nothing in years”
