Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has reassured her younger colleague and nephew, actor Yul Edochie’s wife, May, that her place in their family is secured.
This comes amid the ongoing turmoil in the Edochie family after Yul’s second wife, Judy Austin, shared a Thanksgiving video just weeks after the death of her husband’s first son with May.
In the video, Judy boasted of God’s love for her as he always fights her battles and thanked him for helping her during childbirth.
This displeased many, who accused her of being callous for sharing the video at a time when May is still mourning the death of her son.
Amid the social media frenzy, Rita Edochie took to her Instagram page to reassure May that she is her husband’s main wife and that she is not in competition with anyone.
Rita, who is married to Pete Edochie’s younger brother, Tony, described May as a good woman and said the crisis in her marriage will eventually end and it’s only a matter of time.
She shared a video compilation of May and photos of her children with the caption: “It’s your home Nwam. No worries No competition. It’s a question of time.”
