In a recent interview, Segun Wire cried out for help and implored well-meaning Nigerians to help beg Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile on his behalf.
This is coming barely a few hours after Segun Wire’s mother publicly apologized to Zlatan Ibile and admitted that she wronged the superstar singer.
It is worth recalling that years ago, at the age of six, Segun Wire became an internet sensation after a video of him saying he wanted to become a “Yahoo Boy” went viral on social media.
After his video went viral on the internet, Zlatan Ibile offered his help and took over as his manager.
However, their relationship faltered after Segun Wire’s family accused the superstar singer of exploiting their son.
After falling out with Zlatan Ibile, little was heard from Segun Wire until he recently came back online and pleaded with Zlatan for forgiveness.
In the interview, Segun spoke about how difficult it has been for his family since Zlatan Ibile stopped helping him.
He said he dropped out of school after the problem with Zlatan and now begs people for money to take care of himself. According to his own statements, he can neither read nor write at fifteen.
“I don’t attend any school. I was going to school before the issue happened. I’ve stopped going to school since then. I can’t speak English, I don’t know anything, If you give me a book. I can’t read…Please help me beg Zlatan”. He said in part.
