Shola Ogudu, the first babymama of a Nigerian singer, Wizkid, took their son, Boluwatife, shopping after his excellent academic performance.
Taking to her Instagram page, the proud mother-of-one revealed that she decided to treat her 12-year-old son to a shopping spree because he passed his exams with flying colours.
In her opinion, the reward would motivate him to continue his good work in school and to do even better in later exams.
She posted a video of Boluwatife buying new sneakers at a fashion store and he looked really happy to get some new items.
She described the experience as “retail therapy”.
Shola wrote,
“When your kid promises to come home with fantastic grades and goes ahead to do just that; it’s only right you tick some of his wishlists (It encourages them to do even better next time). Retail therapy with the coolest kid EVER”.
