After Nigeria’s thrilling victory over South Africa in the AFCON semi-finals on Wednesday, February 7th, residents of Rivers State flocked to Stanley Nwabali’s father’s house to celebrate.
It is no surprise that Stanley Nwabali, the goalkeeper of the Nigerian national team, Super Eagles, received a lot of praise for his outstanding saves during the game.
While some Nigerians flooded social media with his photos and congratulated him on helping Nigeria to win, residents of Rivers State made their way to the goalkeeper’s father’s house in a jubilant procession.
