Veteran Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, has opened up for the first time about the end of her marriage with her husband, Daniel Ademinokan.
It is worth recalling that Stella Damasus and Daniel Ademinokan were once married but their marriage ended in 2020.
There were rumors that Ademinokan had left the couple’s home state in the United States of America and ended their marriage. According to both parties, the union ended due to irreconcilable conflicts.
In an interview with Teju Babyface Oyelakin, the actress spoke about the end of her marriage and said she first found out about it on YouTube. She said she didn’t know her spouse had left her until she received calls from friends inviting her to visit YouTube.
The Nollywood actress claims that her spouse contacted her with news of their divorce after seeing several web videos about her failed marriage.
In her words;
“The man in question traveled and was supposed to be away for a while and he was to come back a few days after the man traveled, my phone was buzzing, and I received messages from people asking what is going on. Are you okay? Why didn’t you tell me there was something happening? I am like what are all these links they are sending to me? As I started typing my name and before I was done, videos start coming up ‘Stella’s third marriage crashes’, ‘Karma is a b!tch’’
And I called and we had a conversation and at that time I still didn’t know that anything had happened until I got the final call to say ‘No I am not coming back.’”
