‘I’m Your Biggest Fan, I Love You” – DJ Khaled Gushes As He Meets Tems (Watch)

It’s a proud moment for Nigerian international music star, Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, as she makes history as the first Nigerian female singer to win a Grammy Award.

The 27-year-old Nigerian music sensation won the “Best Melodic Rap Performance” category at the 2023 Grammys on Sunday night, February 6th, for her role in “Wait for U,” by Future featuring Drake, beating DJ Khalid’s “Beautiful” and Kendric Lamar’s “Die Hard,” among others.

Following Tems’ historic win, a heartwarming video of American DJ and record executive, DJ Khaled congratulating her made the rounds on social media.

In the video, DJ Khaled declared himself as Tem’s biggest fan.

“I don’t know if you know it, I’m really your biggest fan, I can talk about it for like 20 minutes straight. I love you, congratulations”, DJ Khaled told Tems.

Meanwhile, Nigerian female music stars, Tiwa Savage, Waje, and Omawumi have congratulated their colleague, Tems on her first Grammy Award.Tems’ Grammy win is undoubtedly a big deal for the Nigerian music industry, and top Nigerian female singers have taken to their respective social media pages to congratulate Tems.

Tiwa Savage shared Tems’ photo on her Insta Stories with the caption, “@temsbaby you already know (love emoji) 4 life.”

For their part, Omawumi and Waje also shared the photo of Tems on their Instagram pages, writing, “Massive Congratulations…(See Here)
