Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has responded to a critic who warned her about the consequences of her political actions.
It is worth recalling that the filmmaker received a backlash from social media users for professing her love and support for APC’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
On her Twitter page, a user identified simply as Erica said that no one will watch any films Toyin Abraham released anymore because of her decision.
In her words;
“Let Toyin Abraham mistakenly release movie again, She will watch it alone in Tinubu’s parlor”
The actress responded to this claim, revealing that she was not made by social media so the netizens’ threats to take her down will definitely have no effect on her.
She wrote;
“You think I’m a social media actress or I got my fame from social media
Omoh I’m grass root to the core and you see those ones they are loyal to the core cos they respect people’s choice and they know I have the right to choose whoever I want”
