Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has responded to the tragic death of his colleague, Yul Edochie’s son, Kambilichukwu.
The news of the death of Yul Edochie’s first son with his wife, May, circulated on social media on Thursday, March 31st. The 16-year-old is said to have collapsed while playing football with his friends at school.
In response to the tragic news, Uche Maduagwu claimed in a video he shared on social media that the incident was spiritual.
In the video, the controversial Nollywood actor, who eventually burst into tears, said he had been crying since hearing the news.
“This is not fair. Pikin when nothing do, Pikin when dey healthy, Pikin when nor sick, Pikin when nor get an ordinary headache, when nothing do…all of a sudden…this is spiritual,” he said amid tears.

Meanwhile, Yul Edochie has reportedly filed a lawsuit against his late son, Kambilichukwu’s School, alleging negligence that may have contributed to his son’s untimely death.
The bereaved father is understood to have reported the death of his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, to the Lagos State Police Command and an investigation is ongoing.
According to Hundeyin, contrary to reports that the 16-year-old died in his parents’ presence, he died at school.
“The state’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed this in a chat with newsmen, said the police have begun an investigation into the incident.
He just reported the case and we have begun investigation. By tomorrow (Friday) it will be transferred to state CID. We will investigate what killed the boy. They have to do an autopsy and know what happened to him,” he said.
“We can’t tell you what happened to him now until an autopsy is conducted, but the incident happened in the school.” Hundeyin said.
