Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has finally broken his silence on the tragic death of his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie.
The movie director and politician, who has been off social media since the sad incident, returned to Instagram on Thursday night with a moving tribute to his son.
In the touching text, the famous Nollywood actor recounted his final moments with his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie.
According to the actor, on that fateful day, his son entered his room before going to school, but he never returned home alive.
He shared a video collage documenting the life of his son, Kambilichukwu, with the caption:
“On that Wednesday morning, you came into my room, dressed up for school. You told me your school would be having inter-house sports on Friday, and I promised you would be there. You were so excited. You told me you won a gold medal in swimming.
I congratulated you. We joked about your height, then you left for school in your ever-cheerful manner. And you never came back home again. I can’t question God. My dear son, just 16 years with us here on earth, but you made your mark. Great son. Calm, cute, brilliant, always cheerful, an outstanding footballer, gentle, and loving soul.”
