Actor Yul Edochie Reportedly Loses His First Son, Kambilichukwu, Details Surrounding His Death Revealed!

Popular Nigerian actor, movie director, and politician, Yul Edochie, has lost his first son with his first wife, May, Kambilichukwu Edochie.

Details of Yul Edochie’s son’s death are still unclear, but Kambilichukwu reportedly collapsed while playing football with his friends.

A family member who confirmed the news to Vanguard said the 16-year-old read all night on Tuesday to prepare for his exams on Wednesday.

After his exams, he meets up with his friends to play football. While playing, he collapsed and had a seizure. He was immediately taken to the Mother and Child Hospital, where his death was confirmed.

“After his exam in school, he joined his mates to play football and he developed a seizure and was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital. All efforts by the doctors to resuscitate him proved abortive,” Vanguard quoted the source as saying.

Yul Edochie and his first wife, May, have not issued any public statement on the reported loss of their son at the time of this writing. However, fans and colleagues have taken to social media to express their condolences and offer words of comfort to the actor and his family.

It is worth noting that Kambilichukwu Edochie turned 16 in January 2023 and his parents took to their respective social media pages to celebrate him.

A few days ago, Yul Edochie took to his social media page and opined that only a polygamist can tell which of his wives his heart belongs to.

Yul Edochie, who is married to two women, May and Judy, made the claim on the microblogging platform, Twitter while responding to a tweet about which of his wives a polygamous man would value most, given their individual qualities.

“Who owns a man’s heart between a woman who is good in bed and another who can cook?” The tweet read.

In response, Yul Edochie noted that there is more to possessing a man’s heart than a woman’s qualities. In his opinion, only a man can truly tell who his heart belongs to. (Continue reading)
