Popular Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze, has taken a sly dig at Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, amid his ongoing marital crisis.
Taking to Instagram, the media personality took a swipe at Yul Edochie while responding to a video of a Nigerian music executive, Don Jazzy, explaining why he can’t commit to just one woman.
Don Jazzy, in a recent interview with Glitch Africa, said he is incapable of staying faithful to one woman.
He mentioned that while his perspective might change when he finds his soulmate, for now, he is currently unable to stay with just one woman.
“I wouldn’t be able to process the fact that if I like this person every other person should go to hell. As of now in my life, when that butterfly hit me as it hit you people when you fall in love, maybe I will then say every other person is fucked.” He said.
Artist Tunde Ednut shared a video of the interview on his Instagram page, prompting a flood of comments from netizens including Daddy Freeze.
In response, Daddy Freeze praised Don Jazzy’s honesty, pointing out that if Yul had shared his stance on polygamy with his first wife, May, from the start, she may not have had an issue accepting his second marriage.
Daddy Freeze went on to point out that while he personally can’t cheat on his wife, he understands Don Jazzy’s point.
“If Yul had told May this, there wouldn’t be any issues today. As for me, I get butterflies for @tastebudzng though. But I understand him perfectly,” he wrote.
