The mother of Segun Wire, the little boy who became an internet sensation years ago after a video where he said he wanted to become a “Yahoo Boy” when he grows up went viral, has issued a public apology to singer Zlatan Ibile.
Bear in mind that after the video went viral on social media, singer Zlatan showed interest in him and promised to help him. True to his word, Zlatan took him in, became his manager, and featured him in one of his latest music videos.
However, their relationship was short-lived when Segun Wire’s family accused the sensational singer of cheating on him.
A video also surfaced on social media at that time when singer Zlatan was attacked by thugs believed to be linked to Segun’s family.
After the incident, Zlatan rescinded his decision to help Segun and said in a series of interviews that he regretted helping the little boy.
Meanwhile, in a recent development, Segun Wire’s mother has now taken to social media to apologize to Zlatan in a trending video circulating on the internet.
She admitted having wronged him and begged him to forgive them. She said they are going through a tough time currently and pleaded with Zlatan Ibile to help them.
“I know I’ve offended you, this suffering is too much, forgive me, forgive Segun. I beg you in God’s name. This suffering is too much”. She said in Yoruba.
