A family’s customary marriage introduction rite has ended in a fight due to a last-minute request by the bride’s uncle.

It was reported that the groom’s family fulfilled all of the bride’s price requirements and transported the items for the wedding rituals to his bride’s family home.

The bride’s uncle came up with a second list that he felt needed to be checked off before offering his daughter’s hand in marriage, and chaos broke out.

A video that has surfaced on social media shows the moment the uncle and another relative were throwing punches and fighting local karate. Some of the guests gasped in shock and laughed while others tried to stop the fight.

A young lady has told how she and her partner ended up in the hospital and nearly lost their lives after eating brownies for the first time – brownies are cakes usually mixed with drugs.

A video the young lady posted on social media captured the moments before and after they decided to try out a new delicacy.

In the video, the couple appeared to be fine after eating the brownies but soon noticed an odd sensation that prompted them to brush their teeth. That didn’t stop the reactions caused by the cake, however, which reportedly contained something more than conventional baking ingredients.

Justina Dauda, a 20-year-old Taraba State University graduate, has taken to social media to celebrate after successfully completing her mandatory one-year NYSC program a virgin.

According to Justina Dauda, those who made fun of her for being a virgin gave her the strength to persevere and move on.

Sharing in a Facebook post on Thursday, May 25, 2023, she wrote;

“Diary of the Virgin Corper 2023. I came, I saw and I’m coming back home intact. Those who mocked me gave me the strength to come back home intact. The 20-year-old Corper is here to say thank you, Lord.

Dedicating this special day to Taraba State University’s Department of political science and international relations class of 2021. I pray for more virgin Corpers from Taraba state University.”

Meanwhile, a video of two Nigerian teenagers spending time together in a hotel has gone viral on the internet, drawing mixed reactions from netizens.

A TikTok user named @__just_1_cashapp recently posted the clip on the video-sharing platform.

In the video, a young girl, who is clearly underage, is seen taking a selfie in the mirror with her “partner”, a young boy who also appears to be underage, in the background.

The girl posed for the camera when the young boy came into the picture and kissed her on the lips. The video caused a massive stir on social media, with many condemning the underage children for lodging in a hotel together.

Some others blamed the hotel management for allowing them to stay in their facility, while others criticized their parents for not instilling good values in them. (Continue reading)
