Kenyan Chef Begins ‘Cook-A-Thon’ Trial, In An Attempt To Beat Hilda Baci’s Record

A Kenyan Chef named Maliha Mohammed has started a cook-a-thon trial days after Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci was confirmed as the Guinness World Record holder.

She announced the start of her cooking marathon on her official Instagram page, revealing that it will last until Sunday, June 18th.

The mother-of-two, who cooked food for 72 hours in 2018, earlier said she wants to break two world records, one of which is held by Hilda Bassey Essien, aka Hilda Baci.

Maliha Mohammed claimed that this is the second trial and that she has already found a sponsor. She asked the public for help while live-streaming it on Instagram.

The 40-year-old Kenyan Chef revealed that she will be cooking for 55 hours in Tudor, Mombasa, cooking 100 recipes in that time.

“Hellooooo Kenya and the world. Tomorrow will be cooking non-stop for 55 hours and making 100 recipes.

Leezzzzz gooooo. Tudor Mombasa from Friday 10 am to Sunday 5 pm. This is a 2ND TRIAL TRAINING. comment below which live should I go with for 55 hours!!,” She Wrote On Thursday.
