A newly married couple has caused a stir on social media after photos of their simple, low-budget wedding ceremony went viral.
The newly married couple who are from a French-African country celebrated their church wedding in a simple setting without the glitz and glamor typical of most weddings.
In the viral photos, the bride and groom eschewed the traditional wedding attire of a gown and suit and instead donned matching t-shirts with their photos embossed on them.
They also had very few guests at the place of venue where they exchanged their marriage vows and sealed their union with a kiss.

The photos got people talking on social media, with many praising the couple for not giving in to pressure to hold a wedding ceremony beyond their financial means.
