A Nigerian woman living in the US has wept bitterly after seeing the two-story building her brother built for her while she was away.
The woman appears to have returned to Nigeria recently to inspect the house she had been sending money to her brother to build for her but was surprised to see an unfinished building erected on a waterlogged land.
In a video circulating on the internet, the woman, who was heartbroken at the sight, bitterly complained that she had been betrayed by her brother, whom she identified as Obinna.
She said she had been working hard and saving money since moving to America 40 years ago and had invested heavily in the property, which she had trusted her brother to build for her, only to have her hopes dashed when she returned to Nigeria.
According to her, whenever she asked her parents about the progress of the construction, they constantly told her that her brother was working on it, but they never went to inspect the building.
Unfortunately, he clearly wasn’t building the house. The woman has threatened to sue her brother and have him prosecuted for treason to the fullest extent of the law.
