Makeup Artist Abigail Frederick Burial
Moses Eskor, Nollywood filmmaker and Chairman of the Akwa-Cross chapter of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), has made a sad revelation about the burial arrangements of the makeup artist, Abigail Frederick, who drowned in the Anam River boat accident.
The 24-year-old deceased was one of the victims of the accident that killed popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope and three other crew members on Wednesday, April 10th.
In a post shared on Facebook, Moses Eskor revealed that Abigail Frederick was buried by the river because her family could not afford the cost of the 150,000 naira sacrifice to the river goddess and an ambulance to transport her body home.
According to Eskor, he managed to raise the sum of N310,000 from well-meaning people. Of the donation, 200,000 naira was used to transport her parents to Asaba and return home.
However, he has since deleted these posts after receiving severe backlash from social media users.
