A wedding reception ended abruptly in Benin, the capital of Edo state when a bride found out her future husband is a father of seven.
The bride reportedly refused to go ahead with the wedding after learning that her husband had not been entirely honest with her since he never mentioned having another family.
A video from the venue that was shared on social media shows the venue littered with chairs, decorations, and tables in a total mess after the chaos that broke out.
The wedding guest, who filmed the event and posted it on TikTok, advised women to do thorough research on potential partners before walking down the aisle.

It turned out that the couple was just returning from the hospital, where they had gone for an ultrasound to determine the baby’s gender.
After the reveal of the gender, the mother-to-be, who was hoping to have a boy as her first child, was disappointed and burst into tears.
In her caption, she explained why she was crying, saying it was her first pregnancy and she had always wanted a boy as her first child.
In her words, “Have always wanted a boy as my first child, but my little princess chose to come first”.
However, her partner comforted her, noting that having a baby is a blessing regardless of gender. (Watch the video here)
