A Nigerian woman has touched the hearts of many social media users by extending her adopted daughter’s hand in marriage, eight years after the girl came to her home as a nanny.

The doctor, known on Instagram as @ariellahealthandfitness, shared this heartwarming story on her official Instagram page.

Lulu, who had lost her mother, approached the woman and asked her to be her mother, a request which the doctor gladly accepted.

She then financed Lulu’s studies at a fashion school for two years and even founded a fashion house for her. Today, Lulu not only creates outfits but also teaches fashion design to other women.

Last weekend, Lulu got married and Ariella happily gave her hand in marriage to her husband as her foster mother.

Ariella shared sweet photos from the wedding with the caption:

Lulu came to my home as the children’s nanny. ‘Please be my mummy. I don’t have a mum’ she said.
Her mum was late.

And mummy I became.

Disciplinarian and all.

She went to fashion school for 2 years.

I set up her own fashion outfit. Now she has students

Today… I gave her over to a good man. A man who loves and values her and takes me as mummy too.

Gosh!! My heart is full. My daughter is married.

Yes, she made my dress too
