A video of the heartbreaking moment when murdered South African rapper, AKA’s daughter, Kairo Owethu, broke down in tears at his memorial service has been shared on social media.
The service was held in his honor on Friday evening, February 17th, at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg, attended by mzanzi singers, actors, politicians and other personalities.
One of the most heartbreaking moments came when the late rapper’s seven-year-old daughter broke down in tears during the funeral service. However, she was comforted by her mother, DJ Zinhle, and her grandmother.
It is worth recallin that AKA, real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, was shot dead at the age of 35 by an unknown gunman outside a restaurant in Durban, South Africa.
His former manager, Tebello, also known as “Tibz” Motsoane, was also shot dead on the same day. They will both be buried today, February 18th.
