Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, commonly known as Ayra Starr, recently missed a show she was scheduled to perform in Manchester after she and her crew were stuck in a lift the whole time.
The ‘Sability’ singer shared her experience with her fans and social media followers, revealing that she and her crew got stuck in a lift en route to the show at the Lighthouse Venue in Eccles, UK.
While in the elevator, Ayra Starr went live on Instagram to yell for help. She looked a little uncomfortable and scared as she panned the camera to show the crowded elevator. She later calmed down and joked while waiting for help.
Amidst the commotion, Ayra Starr is captured leading a praise and worship session in the elevator.
Shortly after the ordeal, Ayra Starr apologized to her fans for missing the show and announced a later date on her Twitter account.
“Manchester, I’ve been here to give you a great show but organizational delays held us back, unfortunately. I’ll be back on the 19th and I promise you a blast! I’m sorry for the inconvenience, guys! I love you all so much! ”. She tweeted.
