Popular Nollywood actor, Bolanle Ninalowo, has apologized to his fans and those who were disappointed by his absence from Hollywood’s Extraction 2.
This is coming after the popular Nollywood actor raised the hopes of Nigerians by claiming to star in the Netflix blockbuster film.
He previously shared a snippet from a film set where he appeared alongside other cast and crew members using the hashtag “Extraction 2,” leading many social media users to believe he would be part of the highly anticipated sequel.
The actor’s “appearance” caused a great deal of excitement among fans, who were looking forward to his performance in the film. Unfortunately, when the film was released, fans were disappointed as he did not appear in the final cut.
The actor has now apologized on his official Instagram page for raising false expectations and clarified his involvement in the film.
He revealed that while he didn’t appear in the main film, he did work on a mockumentary called “Distraction; The Extraction of Don”, which was inspired by Extraction 2.
The mockumentary film follows a group of dangerous mercenaries who kidnap creative director, Donova Goliath, in an effort to obtain his Netflix password.
Sharing the short film, Bolanle wrote,
